A branded PDF market opinion built from comparables and book/market research — not the carrier’s valuation software printout.
Not a formal appraisal engagement on the $150 path. I do not contact the carrier for you on Option 1.
Standard private passenger autos declared a total loss. Not commercial, classic, exotic.
When your vehicle is declared a total loss, the settlement offer often understates what a comparable vehicle would actually cost in the open market. I prepare a defensible professional market valuation using comparable listings, book and market research, and a consistent methodology—delivered as a branded report. You may send it to the carrier. I do not send it for you.
If you need more than a report—because you have invoked, or plan to invoke, the appraisal clause (right of appraisal) under your policy—I also offer a package that includes the market valuation report and professional representation through the appraisal process.

- ✓ Dedicated online intake (VIN decode, photos, claim details)
- ✓ Market research & comparable analysis
- ✓ Professional branded valuation report (PDF)
- ✓ For a first-party owner whose vehicle has been declared a total loss. You use the PDF. I do not contact the carrier.
- ✓ Typical turnaround: within 2 business days after complete intake and payment
Opens secure intake at tlv.tfautoconsulting.com
$500 — Report + Appraisal-Clause Appointed Appraiser
One package that includes the Market Valuation Report and work as your appointed appraiser under the policy appraisal clause — coordination with the carrier’s independent appraiser, not carrier claims staff.
- ✓ Everything in Option 1 (full market valuation report)
- ✓ Appointed-appraiser work under the policy appraisal clause (first-party)
- ✓ Coordination with the carrier’s independent appraiser (not carrier claims staff)
- ✓ Follow-up typical of an active appraisal-clause file
- ! Umpire fees are not included if the appraisers cannot agree
Who this is for: This package is for first-party customers only—you and your own insurer under your policy’s appraisal clause (right of appraisal). It is not offered for third-party claims.
Timing: The valuation report is typically completed within 2 business days after complete intake and payment. Appraisal-clause handling is worked with the other side’s independent appraiser; overall duration depends on their responses — it is not a fixed 2-day process.

Receive your report — and representation if you chose Option 2
You receive a professional PDF market valuation report. With Option 2, I also handle appraisal-clause representation: proactive outreach and negotiation with the adverse appraiser (timeline depends on the other party).
Which option should I choose?
- Option 1 — $150 if you need a professional market valuation report to support discussions with the carrier, without active appraisal-clause representation.
- Option 2 — $500 if you are a first-party insured who needs the report and representation under your policy’s appraisal clause process.
Neither option includes umpire fees if the two appraisers cannot agree and an umpire is required later.
