What we collect
On the marketing site contact form: name, email, phone (optional), type of inquiry, and your message.
On the $150 intake (tlv.tfautoconsulting.com): name, email, phone, ZIP, VIN, year/make/model and related vehicle fields, odometer, condition, optional photos, optional claim/policy/adjuster details, and any coupon code. If you start the form and stop, we may already have your contact fields so we can reach you about the unfinished request.
Why we collect it
To respond to inquiries, prepare the market-opinion report you ordered, take payment, prevent fraud and spam, and understand whether the marketing site is working.
Who else sees it (processors, not a sale)
We do not sell your information. We do use processors:
- Stripe, to take the $150 payment. We do not store your full card number.
- NHTSA vPIC, to decode the VIN.
- Zippopotam.us, to check the ZIP code.
- Netlify, to host the marketing website and forms.
- Railway, to host the TLV intake app at tlv.tfautoconsulting.com.
- Google Analytics (measurement ID G-6YL4KW4NRE) on the marketing site, to see traffic. This uses cookies or similar technology. There is no cookie banner today.
- Our email provider, to send confirmations and the report.
We do not contact your insurance carrier with your file unless you later hire us under a separate written agreement that says we will. The $150 product does not include that.
Retention
Contact-form messages: kept as needed to reply and for a reasonable business record.
Intake and report files: kept as needed to deliver the report and for a reasonable business record of the engagement, then deleted or archived when no longer needed. Drafts of unfinished intakes may be stored until it is clear you will not complete the order.
Your choices
Email tfeltconsulting@gmail.com to ask what we have, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We may keep a copy if we must (for example, a paid order or a legal hold).
Children
This service is not for children under 18.
Changes
We will post updates on this page with a new effective date.
